About the job Recruitment Specialist

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration and Management or a graduate of any 4 or 5-year related course.
  • Recent experience working in the Human Resources/Recruitment. 1-2 years HR/Recruitment experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Amenable for Temrporary Work-From-Home setup.
  • Should have good, wired internet connection of at least 30MBPS and with conducive working space.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedule.

Amenable to work in Alabang, Muntinlupa City/Cebu City upon business decision.

  • Recruits, interviews, screens, completes reference checks and makes hiring decisions in collaboration with local management at the non-exempt level in Cebu. May consult with hiring manager regarding potential candidates and assists them in their final decision at the non-exempt level. Finalizes offers in accordance with employment and compensation policies. Processes appropriate paperwork.
  • Identifies creative sources for recruiting qualified candidates through a variety of continually expanding means to include database, internet, newspaper advertising, job fairs, professional organizations, community agencies, and colleges. Strategize with business unit to determine other possible sources.
  • Works with hiring manager to customize and conduct Behavioral Based interviews. Administration and analysis of exams.
  • Acts as liaison between search firms and hiring managers.
  • Initiates and implements special projects in order to help “grow” the staffing function internally as well as within the community.
  • Assist AVP for Talent & Recruitment in external executive hiring requirements by coordinating with search firms and managing the interview schedules for endorsed candidates. Would also be involved in the sourcing of candidates via online job portals and other candidate sources.

Ensures compliance with applicable federal and state legislation/regulations, and HR policies and procedures to prevent and/or minimize potential liability to the company.
