As a Cook at our esteemed Boutique Hotel, you'll be an integral part of our culinary team, dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences to our discerning guests. You'll collaborate with a talented team to prepare and present high-quality dishes that exceed our guests' expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook exquisite dishes according to the hotel's standards and recipes, ensuring taste, presentation, and quality meet VIP clientele expectations.
  • Menu Development: Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas and suggestions for new dishes and culinary experiences tailored to VIP guests.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety in compliance with health regulations and hotel policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the culinary team to coordinate food preparation and ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods.
  • Ingredient Management: Manage inventory and stock levels of kitchen supplies, ensuring freshness and availability of ingredients necessary for daily operations.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Strive to exceed guest expectations by delivering personalized service and accommodating special requests or dietary requirements with attention to detail and professionalism.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Assist in the upkeep and cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations, adhering to sanitation and maintenance protocols.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in a high-end culinary establishment, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Culinary diploma or degree from a recognized institution is preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and international cuisines, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding the hotel's standards of quality and excellence.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
