Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Senior Officer / Supervisor Learning & Development to support and lead talent development initiatives. This role is responsible for coordinating, delivering, and improving learning programs across the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and employee growth needs.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in L&D operations, training facilitation, and stakeholder engagementcombined with the ability to manage timelines, learning metrics, and junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the execution of learning and development programs, including onboarding, technical training, soft skills development, and compliance modules.
- Facilitate in-person or virtual training sessions when required.
- Support the development of learning content, materials, and digital resources.
- Work with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to tailor programs to specific business or team needs.
- Track and monitor participation, completion rates, and training effectiveness using learning systems and reports.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Oversee scheduling, logistics, and communication for all training programs.
- Contribute to the evaluation and continuous improvement of learning offerings based on participant feedback and business insights.
- Supervise junior L&D staff or coordinators and support day-to-day task management.
- Ensure alignment of learning initiatives with organizational goals and capability-building frameworks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in Learning and Development or Talent Management, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior officer capacity.
- Experience in training design, coordination, and facilitation (in-person and/or virtual).
- Familiarity with learning technologies and LMS platforms.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs and stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze learning data and translate insights into improvements.
- Certification in training and development or instructional design is a plus.
