Accounting Manager

Position level: Managerial

Reporting relationship: Directly reporting to the CEO, BOD and Partners

Work Schedule: Mondays to Fridays 8am- 5pm (may be working on flexitime), Offsetting allowed

Salary Range:  Php 30k to 50k

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage Books/financials such as Back Recon, Management of Treasury Report, Development of proper depreciation to schedule, handle check of preparations, management of accounts payable and payment schedule, execute payments of all taxes and government obligations, including all necessary filings.
• Handle all annual permit processing/renewal requirements
• develop tax reduction measures
• Assist in credit terms with all suppliers
• Lead efforts to reduce petty cash to below 20,000/month
• Manages day to day accounting tasks (Transactions include accounts payable, inventory, fixed assets, production, FX, Collections if any, tax filings, and bank recon)
• Responsible for month end closing and preparation of financial statements
• Collaborate with the Admin Head on the monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory filings
• Prepare accounting reports, and presentation of timely manner
• Develop and improve processes
• Assist during the annual independent audit or if required BIR examination
• Conduct monthly inventory at the store
• Ensure StoreHub is generating accurate sales report
• Processing of government compliances
• Compensation and Benefits processing and administration
• Adhoc tasks are assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree holder in accounting or equivalent. CPA is an advantage but not required.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience including compensation and benefits processing, bank reconciliation, accounts payable, treasury, and financial reporting
• With experience in people management (as Team Lead, Supervisor, Manager, etc.)
• Proficiency with computers, especially bookkeeping software and MS Office
• Knowledgeable and willingness to comply with all national, local government and company regulations. 
• Willing to report onsite (Salcedo Village, Makati)
