Job Description:

Under general direction, this position is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate accounting in compliance with applicable GAAP.

Ensuring accounting controls, processes, and documentation of financial transactions.

Providing financial information to executive management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing financial reports.

Analyze business operations, trends, cost, revenue, financial commitments, and obligations, to support Annual Budgets and periodic forecasts.

Support local compliances like taxes, etc, as well as have active participation in the completion of audits related to the entities.

This position would also involve coordination with the Banks for payments to vendors and business partners, as well as completion of invoicing and follow-up with customers and internal group entities for payments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the timely completion of various accounting activities
  • Timely month-end closure with appropriate provisioning and accrual accounting
  • Timely accounting and tracking of Intercompany Transactions
  • Responsible for Monthly Accounts payable (Creditors), Accounts Receivable (Debtors), Payroll GLs review
  • Supporting accounting related Process Improvement and control aspects
  • Managing Banking related activities including Vendor payments, collections, Intercompany transfers
  • Preparation of monthly Cash Flow Statement, Funds Planning
  • Timely Coordination with US, Philippines & India Teams
  • Supporting in Statutory & Internal Audits
  • Supporting the Annual Budget, Periodic forecasting activity
  • Timely Preparation of periodic Analytical/Adhoc reports for Management review.
  • Ensure timely support to various Operations/support Teams on financial requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal, state, and local financial and legal compliance requirements.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions coordination & Support, if any that would come up
  • Support in Business case evaluations for appropriate decision-making.

Skills and Education:

  • CPA, Bachelor of Accounting or equivalent
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Process controls
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills
  • Experience in Audit coordination
  • Knowledge and understanding of business processes, and technology.
  • Ability to plan and manage multiple activities in a diverse and evolving environment.
  • Expected to work with minimal up-front guidance and take ownership of his / her work activities. The individual will collaborate closely with all major functional leaders of the Company.
  • Expertise with Accounting Software Systems; Advanced computer skills, accounting software and databases
