Job Title: Snowflake DBA / Data Engineer
Location: Taguig City, Philippines

We're looking for a Snowflake DBA / Data Engineer to help manage and optimize a cloud-based enterprise data platform. You'll play a key role in maintaining database performance, security, and scalability while supporting both development and operations teams.

What You'll Do

• Support and maintain the Snowflake data platform.

• Monitor database health, performance, and growth across cloud and on-premises systems.

• Manage user access and ensure database security.

• Optimize queries and warehouse usage for efficiency and cost savings.

• Diagnose and resolve database-related issues.

• Maintain schemas, stored procedures, and other database objects.

• Document processes and configurations as needed.

• Participate in 24/7 on-call support rotation.

• Support release management and CI/CD integration.

What You'll Need

• 3+ years managing data in SQL/NoSQL databases such as Snowflake, MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, and Big Query.

• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python (preferred) or Java.

• Experience with performance tuning and ETL optimization.

• Familiarity with Snowflake tools (Streams, Tasks) and query best practices.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or Nexus.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable in fast-paced environments.
