Job Title: Network Management and Automation Engineer

Join a cross-functional team dedicated to maximizing the value of enterprise networks. As a Network Management and Automation Engineer, you will support network observability tools, build and enhance automations, and ensure high-quality service delivery across global infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support enterprise network management platforms and custom automations.

  • Collaborate with network teams to identify use cases and plan effective network monitoring solutions.

  • Utilize SNMP, ICMP, API polling, NetConf, NetFlow, and syslog ingestion technologies.

  • Automate tasks using Python, Ansible, Git, and CI/CD pipelines following IaC practices.

  • Perform basic Linux administration, including software installations and updates.

  • Ensure changes meet deployment standards and follow change management protocols.

  • Track project timelines, mitigate risks, and ensure deliverables are met on time.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance network management efficiency.

  • Deliver technical presentations and documentation for both internal stakeholders and management.

Key Competencies

  • Expertise in Linux, Python, Ansible, Grafana.

  • Strong understanding of fault, performance, and configuration management.

  • Ability to clearly communicate during high-stress scenarios.

  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to learn new technologies.

  • Willingness to work in shifting schedules and provide 24x7 support when needed.

  • Collaborative, professional, and proactive in cross-functional environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, ECE, or related field.

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in network management tools and platforms.

  • Minimum 3+ years of scripting experience for network infrastructure.

  • Preferred certifications: CCNA, ITIL (or experience in an ITIL-practicing organization).

  • Experience working with large global networks, including data centers, WAN, and LAN/WLAN environments.

  • Proven collaboration experience with international or US-based teams.
