About the job Sales Supervisor
As Sales Supervisor with expertise in gourmet deli, bistro, and wine cellar products, and a strong background in Spanish Food and Wine, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within the institutional and wholesale sectors. Your in-depth knowledge of the industry and products will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining relationships with institutional clients.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan tailored to the institutional market segment, with a primary focus on gourmet deli, bistro, and wine cellar products, especially those of Spanish origin.
- Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential institutional clients, including hotels, restaurants, catering companies, and other foodservice establishments. Build a robust client portfolio.
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate an expert understanding of the product portfolio, including its features, benefits, and cultural significance, with a particular emphasis on Spanish cuisine and wines.
- Client Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with institutional clients, understanding their unique needs and preferences. Provide personalized product recommendations and solutions.
- Customized Solutions: Collaborate with clients to create customized product offerings and packages that align with their menu and business objectives.
- Order Management: Handle order processing, including order entry, invoicing, and coordination with the logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and finalize contracts and pricing agreements with institutional clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
- Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging opportunities in the institutional market. Provide regular market insights and feedback to the company.
- Sales Growth: Set and achieve sales targets and revenue goals. Continuously monitor and analyze sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed to drive growth.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop marketing collateral and promotional materials tailored to institutional clients.
- Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for company leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities within the institutional sales segment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record in institutional sales within the gourmet deli, bistro, and wine cellar industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Spanish food and wine, including culinary traditions, regional variations, and wine production.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
