Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced General Manager to oversee all operations at our boutique resort. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our team, driving guest satisfaction, and ensuring the profitability of our resort.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the resort's operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day running.
  • Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Work with the board of directors to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals.
  • Identify and address problems and opportunities for the resort.
  • Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
  • Support worker communication with the management team.
  • Drive the resort's financial performance and growth.
  • Deliver superior service and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Promote the resort's brand and engage in public relations activities.
  • Develop strategies to maximize the role of the resort in the local community and promote sustainable tourism.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a general management position in the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury resort setting.
  • Strong understanding of business management, financial, and leadership principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a hands-on attitude.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the local culture and commitment to sustainable tourism practices.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or relevant field; Masters degree in Business or related field is a plus.
