About the job Restaurant Manager in Siargao

Manager shall have decision-making authority in the day-to-day operation, direction, management and supervision of the Restaurant. Managers authority and obligations shall include:

(a) hiring, training, supervision and termination of Restaurant personnel, and determining the number of staff required;

(b) leading the front of the house team in taking care of guests, anticipating and responding to the needs of guests in a professional manner, demonstrating skillful guest interaction at all times.

(c) monitor the performance of kitchen staff in support of the Head Chef to help ensure all dishes are produced in accordance to the standard and guest satisfaction. Work in tandem with the Head Chef to correct any food preparation and presentation deficiencies that may arise.

(c) establishing and supervising all advertising, public relations and promotional policies with respect to the Restaurant.

(d) supervise the work of the restaurant purchasing and inventory team to help maintain sufficient supplies and avoid out of stocks on the menu.

(e) supervise the restaurant accountant to ensure sound management of cashflow, budgeting, and operational costs and prevention of fraud.

(f) other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Willing to relocate to Siargao
  • Minimum of three years experience in supervising restaurant operations as a manager or assistant manager
  • College degree
  • Overseas experience preferred but can be substituted with local experience engaging with guests from overseas
  • Fluent in English (written and oral) and either Bisayan or Tagalog
