Job Summary:

We are looking for a knowledgeable and analytical Financial Risk Management (FRM) Manager to lead advisory engagements focused on credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, and capital adequacy. This role involves providing strategic and technical guidance to clients on risk modeling, regulatory compliance, and financial risk governance.

The ideal candidate has experience in risk consulting, banking or financial services, and a strong understanding of risk frameworks, financial instruments, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver financial risk advisory engagements, including credit risk assessments, capital adequacy reviews, stress testing, and risk model validation.
  • Provide expert guidance on regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel III/IV, IFRS 9, ICAAP, BSP/SEC regulations).
  • Develop and enhance risk governance frameworks, risk appetite statements, and risk policies for clients.
  • Analyze portfolio-level risks and exposure to market fluctuations, interest rate movements, and credit events.
  • Lead the creation of risk models, scenario analyses, and quantitative assessments using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Support client engagements involving treasury risk, ALM (Asset and Liability Management), and financial instrument valuations.
  • Coordinate with client stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of insights, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior team members to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Contribute to proposal development, thought leadership, and internal capability building initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; FRM, CFA, CPA, or similar certifications are highly preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in financial risk management, treasury, or regulatory risk advisorypreferably in a consulting, banking, or financial services environment.
  • Solid understanding of risk models, stress testing methodologies, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Experience with risk data analytics and financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel, SAS, R, Python, or SQL) is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and client management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and lead high-performing teams.
