Job Openings Royalty Project Manager

About the job Royalty Project Manager

The Global Royalty Department (GRD) is responsible for the timely and accurate payment of royalties to our book author partners around the world. The Finance Transformation Office (FTO) is an internal consultancy team who support the delivery of finance-based projects from requirements gathering to implementation.

The core element of this role will comprise working exclusively with the Global Royalties team, supporting the Global Head of Royalties and Royalties Integration Manager with all project work and leading activities from initiation to delivery. Projects/focus areas may include system enhancements, the integration of subsidiaries onto the global royalty's platform and process definition and transformation.

Along with GRD users and management, the Project Manager GRD will also be required to work with internal and external parties (other project managers, business sponsors, 3rd party vendors, system administrators, technical teams) to scope, gather end to end requirements, validate design solutions, coordinate testing and track/deliver projects to time and to budget. In addition, when required, the successful candidate will also be expected to assist with operational/business as usual activities. This may occur at peak times during the annual royalty cycle (e.g., semi-annual payment periods) and will require developing an understanding of both Book Author contracts and the Global ('Alliant') royalty system. This knowledge will complement the ability to deliver successful royalty projects and the intention is for project/operational activities to be split approximately 75%/25% each year.
