Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and data-driven Total Rewards leader to drive the strategic design and execution of compensation, benefits, and rewards programs across the organization. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in total rewards who can balance market competitiveness, internal equity, regulatory compliance, and financial sustainability.

The Associate Director Total Rewards will play a key role in shaping the organization's ability to attract, retain, and motivate talent through innovative reward strategies. The role requires strong stakeholder management, analytical capability, and leadership in guiding the total rewards agenda across multiple geographies or business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and governance of compensation, benefits, recognition, and wellness programs.
  • Oversee the annual compensation review cycle, including merit increases, variable pay, market benchmarking, and pay-for-performance planning.
  • Ensure internal compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with organizational goals and budgets.
  • Evaluate and recommend enhancements to existing benefits programs, leveraging market data and employee feedback.
  • Provide strategic consultation to senior leadership on compensation structures, retention programs, and job leveling frameworks.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, brokers, and benefit providers to optimize services and ensure compliance with SLAs.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Talent Acquisition, and HR Business Partners to align rewards strategies with workforce and business objectives.
  • Ensure total rewards practices remain compliant with local labor regulations and are aligned with global standards.
  • Use data and analytics to assess compensation trends, identify risks, and support decision-making across HR and business teams.
  • Support internal education and communication of rewards programs to ensure employee understanding and engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field; certification in Compensation or Total Rewards is an advantage.
  • 8-10 years of experience in compensation and benefits, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of job evaluation methodologies, market pricing, pay structures, and benefits design.
  • Experience managing total rewards programs across large-scale or multi-location organizations.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and influence compensation decisions aligned with business goals.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with HRIS platforms; experience in data modeling and compensation analytics is highly desirable.
  • Strong project management, vendor management, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of regional or global labor regulations affecting compensation and benefits.
