DevOps Engineer

As the DevOps you will join a highly technical team responsible for the implementation, deployment, and architecture of cloud projects (AWS, Azure, GCP) for internal needs or for customers. You will also be requested to help on other projects or support if needed. For this position, you will be able to demonstrate proficiency with the design, implementation and support of cloud solutions and exhibit strong project management and communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Management of the AWS environment (monitoring system, Ticketing system, KB system)
• Migration of on-premise infrastructure to cloud infrastructure
• Integration of AWS/Azure/GCP cloud services with on-premise technologies from Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, VMWare etc.
• Implementation of AWS/azure/CGP services
• Deployment of Automation tools such as Chef, Ansible, Puppet, terraform, packer
• Implementation of DevOps methodology on AWS/Azure/GCP
• Implementation of Linux infrastructure
• Implementation of Kubernetes / Docker infrastructure
• Management of the Backup solution on AWS/azure or other
• Development of solutions to improve the operation of our customer or within REST Solution AWS infrastructure
• Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert on projects, overseeing the work of others and being accountable for the outcome of the project
• Assist the sales team in identifying and closing opportunities through customer meetings and presentations
• Handle the ticket assigned to you to support our customer: incident/ customer request management
• Support the T1 and T2 for incidents on AWS environment
• Train T1 & T2 team
• Handle project management

Requirements:

• A BS degree in computer science or a related discipline
• Minimum combination of 7 years of systems, network, or storage administration experience
• Collaborative team player, keen to learn and share ideas
• Strong Linux System Administration experience including scripting and automating day-to-day SysAdmin and DevOps tasks
• Experience in setup and management of build automation tools
• Experience with tools and integration with various AWS services (E.g. Splunk, Sumo Logic, Cloudamize, and CloudEndure, etc.)
• Experience with infrastructure automation and monitoring tools (e.g. Chef, Nagios, etc.)
• Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins)
• Experience with containerization
• Strong knowledge of networks/network environments
• Maintaining the application development team(s) standard servers and services
• Knowledgeable with cloud deployment (Azure, AWS)
• Understanding of DevOps tools and technologies
• Need to be certified in AWS or Azure
