Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Email Marketing & Automation Specialist to plan, execute, and optimize email campaigns and automated workflows for a SaaS-based product or compliance solution. This role is responsible for enhancing lead nurturing, customer engagement, and conversion through targeted email journeys, segmentation strategies, and performance tracking.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms, understands customer lifecycles in a B2B environment, and is passionate about driving results through data-driven email marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage end-to-end email campaigns and automated workflows to support lead generation, onboarding, engagement, and retention.
- Segment contact lists based on behavior, demographics, and lifecycle stage to deliver personalized communications.
- Collaborate with content, design, and sales teams to create compelling email copy and templates that align with brand and campaign goals.
- Manage A/B testing, delivery timing, and optimization strategies to improve open rates, CTR, and conversions.
- Monitor email performance and automation metrics using analytics dashboards and provide actionable insights.
- Maintain data hygiene within CRM and marketing automation systems, ensuring GDPR and CAN-SPAM compliance.
- Support lifecycle marketing strategies and integrate email workflows into broader demand generation campaigns.
- Continuously review industry trends, tools, and best practices to innovate and improve email marketing performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in email marketing and automation, preferably in a SaaS, B2B, or compliance-based software environment.
- Proficient in tools such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, or similar marketing automation platforms.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) and basic HTML/CSS for email customization.
- Strong understanding of email compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
- Excellent written communication, segmentation strategy, and data analysis skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and workflows simultaneously.
