A leading automotive group is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to join their Head Office HR team. This role focuses on industrial relations, HR administration, compliance, and operational HR support within a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

HR Degree or Diploma (or related qualification)

3–5 years' experience as an HR Generalist

Strong Industrial Relations (IR) experience
-
Strong administrative capability (detail-driven environment)
-
Proven experience in HR policy drafting and implementation
-
Fluent in Afrikaans and English (written and verbal)

Valid driver's licence
ADVANTAGEOUS EXPERIENCE (NOT ESSENTIAL)

Payroll exposure (training can be provided)

B-BBEE exposure
-
Sage VIP Payroll experience
-
MIBCO experience
-
Automotive industry experience
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide HR and IR support to the business

Draft, update, and implement HR policies and procedures

Support payroll processes where required

Assist with Employment Equity and compliance reporting

Support Skills Development initiatives

Assist with OHS administration and compliance
-
Maintain accurate HR records and ensure governance standards

Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to management
