Our client is seeking a dynamic and skilled HR and Finance Assistant to join their team. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, with HR and Finance experience being a bonus.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 Senior Certificate or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License

Software:

The successful candidate must be PC literate and have experience working with MS Office applications.

Duties:

Reporting directly to the HR Manager and CFO, the HR and Finance Assistant will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative duties within the HR and Finance Department. Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare monthly credit card reconciliations.
  • Purchasing company groceries and consumables.
  • Manage and review filing and office systems.
  • Follow up on debtors' accounts.
  • Provide administration support to the project team.
  • Assist with company social events.
  • Administer the stock control system.
  • Assist with the uptake of ISO documentation.
  • Manage stationery requirements and purchasing.
  • Liaise with suppliers.
  • Maintain and update HR databases, including employee records, leave records, work rosters, and disciplinary records.
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing accurate data, such as absences and leave.
  • Prepare paperwork for HR policies and procedures.
  • Process employees' requests and provide timely information.
  • Coordinate any training requests with the HR Manager.
  • Provide orientations for new employees and assist in drafting new employee contracts.
  • Coordinate emergency/day-to-day repairs and maintenance.
  • Coordinate queries forwarded to the Facilities Department.
  • Prepare invoices for approval prior to payment.
  • Coordinate and compile incident reports as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Salary:

The salary for this position is negotiable and will range from R15,000 to R20,000, depending on experience.
