About the job BDO / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (COMMERCIAL)
Our client who specialises in Commercial Asset Finance specifically Yellow metal , Truck and Trailer Finance. is seeking the services of a BDO.
The Business Development Officer (BDO) will be responsible for developing new business and following up on leads in the Gauteng region (but not limited to) for a niche, boutique financial services firm.
Reporting to the Director, the BDO will identify and develop opportunities directly with commercial clients or via brokers.
- Develop and execute a business development plan to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
- Identify potential clients and establish relationships with them to understand their financial needs.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth and development.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the company's CRM system.
- Provide exceptional customer service to maintain relationships with existing clients.
- Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure that clients receive a seamless experience.
Requirements:
- Commercial qualification (finance, marketing, business management or similar will be advantageous)
- Bilingual (fluent in Afrikaans and English)
- Financial acumen
- NCA Card
- 5 years experience in the commercial finance space will be beneficial
- Drivers licence as role requires someone who will visit clients

Package
This opportunity provides a guaranteed basic salary plus lucrative commission structure and Bonus incentives.
R20 000 Basic + Uncapped Cell and data + Company Vehicle + Fuel (Business only) + lucrative commission structure + Bonus incentives.
