Our client - a Not-For-Profit Organization Is seeking a Part Time IT Manager (3 days/week)
SUMMARY:
The IT Manager directs efforts to maintain continuous service by ensuring the organization remains on the leading edge with technology, by implementing process controls, maintaining accreditation standards, ensuring timely equipment upgrades and maintaining internal controls.
The IT Manager provides oversight to the IT structure of the agency including all hardware and software; maintain all agency electronic and wireless devices; liaison/communicates with external service providers; maintains inventory of all IT equipment; provides oversight to agency websites. The IT Manager supervises all IT personnel and works closely and in collaboration with the Manager of Quality Improvement and Strategic Initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher Certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Windows Server, Microsoft exchange and outlook certification/knowledge.
- Experience with database applications.
- Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operations systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring.
- Project Management/IT Maintenance with thin client network infrastructure.
- Practical experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, client/server, disk imaging, remote tools, Windows 10/11, Server 2019, and iPhone/iPads/ Android devices.
- Knowledge of MS-Intune or other MDM tools for device management Additional online certification in coding, data science, and cloud computing is an asset.
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing various electronic equipment.
- Knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods), industry practices, estimating/ budgeting, and scheduling.
- Computer literate, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project.
- Prior management experience is an asset.
- Prior vendor management and procurement experience is an asset.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual English/French an asset.
- Strategize, plan and develop projects and ability to manage complex and recurring projects.
- Supervisory skills for direct supervision of assigned positions.
- Ability to manage and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
- Good oral and written communication.
- Very strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, established troubleshooting skills.
- Very strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge and experience of software (outlook, word, excel, power point) computer applications and equipment.
- Wireless device management.
- Excellent writing skills to document report and communicate findings.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and forecasting to assist the agency with its planning processes.
- Ability to provide training to various internal groups on various computer software programs.
