Role Description
Senior application analyst, with the goal of joining the support and application development team for Mainframe applications in the credit area.
Responsibilities / Main Activities

Perform Technical Analysis, new developments or impacts on existing software based on Functional Specifications.

Prepare unit and system test plans; execute unit and system tests for projects managed by or involving the team.

Prepare technical documentation and others, in accordance with the methodologies in force at novobanco.

Develop software according to programming rules and the development framework in force at novobanco, based on previously prepared Technical Analysis documents.

Analyse and resolve incidents, including accounting discrepancies and bug fixes.

Monitor batch chains, including support for the nightly production batch, integrated in a rotating schedule.
Main Competency Areas (>10 years experience)
-
Strong knowledge of Cobol, DB2, CICS, JCL.

At least 10 years of experience in technical analysis and programming.

Functional knowledge of the Credit domain — preferably amortizable subsidized credit, mortgage credit, Bills/Discounts, Received Guarantees and Credit Recovery.

Knowledge of accounting applied to credit applications.
