Position: Senior Network Administrator (Hybrid in Bucharest, Romania)

What Youll Be Doing (in the most epic way possible):

• Design, implement, and maintain robust L2/L3 datacenter networks to support business operations.
• Manage and configure Cisco networking equipment, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Monitor and secure network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and compliance.
• Support and maintain firewall solutions, including ACLs, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
• Ensure adherence to PCI-DSS compliance requirements and assist in audits as needed.
• Collaborate with operational teams to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, integrating on-call L3 support shifts.
• Maintain and improve network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 5+ years of experience as a network administrator or similar role.
• Strong hands-on expertise in L2/L3 networking and security Cisco solutions (switches, routers and firewalls)
• Proficient in configuring and managing firewalls and network security solutions such as Cisco Firepower, Cisco ASA administration, Firewall Management Center.
• Experience in identity management and monitoring Cisco solutions (Identity Services Engine, Prime Infrastructure, Catalyst Center)
• Solid understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs).
• Experience with PCI-DSS compliance and network security best practices.
• Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues.
• Experience in activity planning and documentation in collaborative platforms such as Jira and Confluence.
• Fluent in English is mandatory




Preferred:

• Cisco certifications such as CCNP, CCNA Security, or equivalent.
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g. Catalyst Center, Zabbix, Nagios, or PRTG).
• Familiarity with Linux OS administration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (e.g. Shell scripting, Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Familiarity with Web Application Firewall solutions.
• Familiarity with IPAM solutions.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN and cloud networking solutions
