Position: C++ Developer
Location: Lisbon / Hybrid
Job Summary: We are looking for a C++ Developer to contribute to the development and maintenance of financial software solutions, with a strong focus on integration, software quality, and automation. The role involves developing new functionalities, working with automated and manual code reviews, creating functional and unit tests, maintaining technical documentation, and contributing to DevOps and efficiency initiatives. Experience with Summit SDK is highly valued, while knowledge of financial markets and banking processes is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial software solutions using C++.
- Work on the integration of applications and services across complex IT environments.
- Learn and work with Summit Software and Summit SDK.
- Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented code.
- Participate in automated and manual code review processes.
- Create automated functional tests and unit tests for new developments.
- Contribute to the evolution of non-regression testing and other efficiency tools.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Contribute to DevOps-related activities and continuous improvement initiatives when required.
- Develop knowledge of financial markets and the business processes supported by the applications.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with C++ development.
- Knowledge of Shell scripting, C#, Git, and SQL.
- Experience with software development, testing, and maintenance processes.
- Strong understanding of software quality and testing practices.
- Experience with Summit SDK is highly valued.
- Knowledge of Python, Jenkins, Artifactory, or XLDeploy/digital.ai is a plus.
- Knowledge of financial products such as credit derivatives, interest rate derivatives, FX, and options is a plus.
- Familiarity with banking processes such as clearing, confirmation, payments, and accounting is valued.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Autonomous, responsible, proactive, and organized approach.
- Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong team-player mindset and adaptability.
- English C1 level.
