Position: QA Tester
Location: Porto/Lisbon, Portugal

Responsibilities

• Create test scenarios and test plans;
• Design, execute and maintain manual test cases;
• Report bugs and errors to the development teams;
• Support UAT/E2E activities;
• Participate in test effort estimation and risk identification;
• Review and analyse test results;
• Prepare test status reports and issues status reports;
• Communicate constantly with IT teams/squads working in different countries.

Requirements

• Strong experience testing RESTful and/or SOAP APIs, executing functional tests and validating responses and status codes with tools such as Postman or SoapUI;
• Hands-on experience performing database queries (DBeaver or similar) to verify data integrity;
• Knowledge of test automation tools;
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools and processes, including testing techniques (boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, error guessing);
• Experience with Jira and Xray (good to have);
• Analytical thinking, excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Proactive attitude;
• Good level of English.
