WordPress developer (WPVip)

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain advanced WordPress-based solutions for large-scale platforms.
Build and optimize custom queries, plugins, and integrations to enhance performance and functionality.
Ensure best practices in scalability, performance, and security across all projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across multiple environments.

Requirements
Recent hands-on experience in WordPress development as your most recent contract or full-time role.
Expert-level proficiency beyond basic theme and plugin customization with demonstrated success in advanced, custom WordPress builds.
Strong understanding and experience with:
Custom queries, including term queries and post meta optimization.
WordPress Hooks, Actions, and Filters (knowing the differences and applying them correctly).
Complex architectures involving plugin dependencies, REST APIs, and performance optimization.
Solid foundation in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile environments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
