System Integration Technician (SIT2)
Location: Annapolis Junction, MD | On-Site
Clearance Requirement: ACTIVE TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (Required)
We are seeking a skilled System Integration Technician (SIT2) to support the assembly, integration, testing, and verification of complex hardware and software systems within a secure operational environment. This role focuses on ensuring system components function together as intended and meet technical, safety, and performance requirements.
The System Integration Technician will serve as a hands-on technical resource, supporting multi-platform operating environments and validating system readiness in support of mission-critical national security objectives.
Responsibilities
- Install, integrate, and validate hardware and software in accordance with installation standards and safety requirements

Maintain technical awareness of system architectures and subsystems to support integration activities

Assemble and configure systems using technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation

Perform cabling, labeling, rack installation, operating system loading, and application installation

Execute quality assurance checks and verification testing on integrated systems

Develop and execute integration and test procedures, plans, and scripts

Perform end-to-end system testing to confirm performance, functionality, and compliance
- Serve as a lead technician supporting system production, integration, and troubleshooting efforts
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelors degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered

Possess 10+ years of hands-on experience supporting system integration across multiple operating systems

Demonstrate experience across the full system integration lifecycle, including:

Hardware installation and configuration

Cabling, labeling, and rack assembly

Operating system and application installation

Quality assurance, validation, and system testing
- Development and execution of integration and test documentation

Preferred Qualifications
- Possess 3+ years of experience supporting Intelligence Community or Signals Intelligence environments

Salary Range
$145,000 – $160,000 (USD)
