CDL-A Dedicated Driver - Home Weekly - No Touch Freight - Paid Training

Home every week, almost all no touch freight, and paid training for new CDL holders. This dedicated account runs out of Houston and serves paper and packaging plants across the South.

The Short Version

• Home every week for your 34 hour restart
• 99% no touch, about 75% drop and hook
• Same customer, same type of freight, week after week

Pay

• $650 a week during 4 to 6 weeks of training
• $0.63 per mile once you're solo
• $1,200 to $1,400 average weekly pay, about 1,900 miles a week
• $40 extra on loads under 100 miles
• $100 safety and performance bonus

Lanes

• LA, MS, TN, AR, East Texas, East Oklahoma and MO
• Occasional grocery deliveries
• Weekend work, Christmas off

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and 21 or older
• New drivers: 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school
• Experienced: 6 months in the last 12, or 12 months in the last 5 years. DD214 considered
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years, nothing serious in 12 months
• No major preventable accidents in 5 years, no DUI/DWI in 5 to 10 years
• Hair and urine drug test, 3 years verifiable work history
• Live within 50 miles of Houston
