Position Details

• • Regional flatbed freight hauling steel pipe and flat steel
• • Drivers typically run 2,300–2,800 miles per week
• • 40–50% of loads require tarping
• • Predictable lanes and consistent freight

Pay

• • 27% of linehaul revenue
• • Average weekly earnings $1,500–$2,000
• • $40 tarp pay
• • $50 layover pay after 24 hours
• • $16 detention pay after 2 hours
• • $300 weekly non-taxed per diem

Equipment

• Drivers operate late-model automatic tractors including Freightliner Cascadia and Kenworth T680 models.
