Our client is hiring a Speech Therapist (SLP) to join a dedicated home health team serving patients in the Mechanicsburg, PA area. This full-time, weekday role focuses on helping individuals recover and regain communication and swallowing abilities in the comfort of their homes while giving you the flexibility and purpose you've been looking for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
• Use diagnostic tools to assess speech/language abilities and determine treatment goals
• Maintain detailed clinical records and report changes in patient condition to the physician
• Educate families and caregivers on support techniques to improve communication

• Reassess patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed

• Submit documentation and periodic reports in line with agency and payer requirements

• Coordinate referrals to outside clinics or services when appropriate

• Participate in case conferences, in-services, and staff meetings

• Support a patient-first culture focused on outcomes, comfort, and independence

Qualifications (Required):

• Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology

• 1+ years of supervised post-certification clinical experience in an institutional setting

• 1+ years of experience in any of the following:

  • Home Health, Epic Home Health, or general Home Health Care

• Active SLP license in Pennsylvania (PA)

• Valid AHA BLS, ACLS, or PALS certification

• Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination

• Must provide: SLP License Number, Tech Certification, Drivers License, and COVID card

Additional Requirements:

•  

  Must not have applied to or worked for Residential Home Health & Hospice in the last 6 months

• Must speak with a one additional recruiter before submission

Schedule:

• Full-Time | MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

• No on-call, weekends, or holiday work required

• Patient Load: 1830 units/week

Travel:

• Travel by automobile to patient homes within local area

• Must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions
