Business Intelligence (BI) Lead

Our client is seeking a Business Intelligence Lead to spearhead the design, development, and delivery of advanced BI solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and SAP. In this leadership role, you'll manage a team of BI professionals and partner across departments commercial, supply chain, finance, operations to turn raw data into business-changing insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Strategy: Mentor a BI team and align BI roadmap with strategic business goals
• Solution Design: Architect and optimize BI solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI/Tableau, and Databricks
• Data Integration: Oversee ingestion and transformation of multi-source data into unified semantic models
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, IT, and business stakeholders to translate needs into dashboards and insights
• Data Governance: Ensure adherence to data quality, security, and compliance standards
• Innovation: Stay current on AI/ML trends and Microsoft Fabric enhancements; recommend improvements
• Support & Reporting: Deliver real-time dashboards and support business users across analytics platforms

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• 10+ years of BI experience, including team leadership and project ownership
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and semantic modeling
• Strong grasp of ETL, data warehousing, and data architecture concepts
• Advanced Power BI/Tableau development skills
• Hands-on SQL and Python/R for data transformation and modeling
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
