Are you a Board-Certified Music Therapist with a passion for geriatric and end-of-life care? Our client is seeking a Hospice Music Therapist to provide compassionate, meaningful therapy services to patients navigating the final stages of life. This is an opportunity to use your talents in a deeply impactful way helping others find peace, joy, and connection through music.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Provide professional music therapy services in alignment with clinical

    standards and hospice care protocols
  • Educate patients, families, and care teams about the purpose and value of music therapy
  • Use live music (playing instruments, singing, improvisation) to support patient comfort, communication, and well-being
  • Assess and document therapeutic goals and outcomes for each patient

  • Encourage patient participation and tailor sessions to emotional, 

    spiritual, and physical needs
  • Facilitate sessions that foster peace, creative expression, and emotional support during end-of-life care

Qualifications: (Required):

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Music Therapy

  • Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC)

  • Valid Michigan Music Therapy license or certification

  • 1+ years of experience in any of the following:

    • Geriatric Care, Senior Care, or Long-Term Care

    • Hospice, Healthcare, or Palliative Care
