We are hiring a Senior Cost Control Engineer to lead cost planning, monitoring, and financial control across engineering and construction projects. You will own budgets, forecasts, and cost reporting to ensure projects are delivered within approved financial targets. The role directly impacts project profitability, financial transparency, and commercial risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project budgets, cost plans, and financial baselines.
• Monitor actual costs versus budget and forecast final project costs.
• Prepare cost reports, variance analysis, and financial dashboards for management.
• Review contracts, change orders, and variation claims for financial impact.
• Support procurement and subcontractor cost evaluation and negotiations.
• Track cash flow, commitments, and payment schedules.
• Identify cost risks and opportunities and recommend mitigation actions.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in cost control, project controls, or commercial engineering roles.
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting on large-scale projects.
• Solid understanding of contracts, change management, and cost control methodologies.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and project cost control or ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight reporting deadlines.
