Network Engineer

 Job Description:

We are hiring a Network Engineer. In this role, you will provide daily operational support, analysis, and implementation enablement to technology squads and Centers of Excellence. You will maintain documentation, ensure data accuracy, and support reporting needs to enable smooth BAU operations. You will also contribute to projects, process improvements, and issue resolution to strengthen overall system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Review, build, and maintain functional and technical documentation, communications, and policies.

Support workshops, meetings, testing activities, and issue resolution.

Conduct quality assurance checks on data, inputs, and outputs.

Prepare and maintain reporting dashboards and artefacts across tools such as Jira, Excel, and Planview.

Assist with small projects and initiatives to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Implement new processes and contribute feedback to improve compliance and efficiency.

Adhere to established policies, processes, and SOPs to ensure consistent service delivery.

Provide internal customer service in line with organizational service standards.

Requirements

2–3 years of experience in enterprise IT environments, including network architectures, security, and incident management.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications such as CCNA (Data Centre/Security/Route-Switch) or equivalent.

ITIL Foundation certification in IT Service Management.

Strong knowledge of data network technologies and protocols (e.g., routers, switches, NFV, BGP, MPLS, DNS/DHCP).

Knowledge of network security technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPN, IPS, WAF, DDoS protection).

Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, banking applications, and unified communications technologies.

Strong problem analysis and capacity planning skills.
