We are hiring a Cost Engineer to support cost planning and cost management across regional construction projects. The role focuses on developing cost baselines, benchmarking frameworks, and cost strategies to ensure accurate planning and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop cost development strategies, cost baselines, and benchmarking frameworks.
• Build and maintain cost libraries, databases, and regional cost references.
• Prepare cost escalation models, market adjustments, and regional cost indices.
• Support cost planning from feasibility stage through construction completion.
• Review tender packages, contracts, and bid documents.
• Identify commercial risks and support contract-related discussions.
• Use market intelligence and project reviews to improve cost accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in cost engineering, quantity surveying, or a similar role.
• Strong background in construction projects and cost management.
• Experience with cost strategies, baselines, benchmarks, and project documentation.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Power BI and cost estimation tools.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or BIM is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with international teams across different time zones.
