General Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized General Accountant to manage daily accounting activities, ensure accurate financial records, and support the company's financial operations in compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions and journal entries.
• Prepare and reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor expenses, revenues, and budget allocations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
