Procure to pay Lead
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Procure to Pay Leader to join our Supply Chain Hub. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end procure-to-pay process across multiple teams and locations, ensuring efficient execution of procurement activities from sourcing and purchasing through invoice processing and supplier payments. You will play a key leadership role in driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance, improving processes, and supporting overall supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Procure to Pay Officers, ensuring clear objectives, performance management, and continuous capability development.
- Oversee the full procure-to-pay cycle to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) including cycle time, supplier performance, cost efficiency, and process compliance.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, automation opportunities, and best practices to enhance efficiency and control.
- Support strategic sourcing activities, supplier selection, and contract negotiations in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring performance monitoring, compliance, and issue resolution when needed.
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Logistics, and other departments to ensure smooth procurement execution and business alignment.
- Resolve escalated issues related to purchase orders, deliveries, invoice discrepancies, and payments.
- Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of procurement data within ERP systems (preferably SAP).
- Support audits and ensure full compliance with internal controls, policies, and governance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related fields, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong experience in managing procurement processes within oil & gas, industrial services, or manufacturing sectors is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management capabilities.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
