Trade Marketing Supervisor

Job Purpose

The Trade Marketing Supervisor is responsible for driving in-store execution, supporting point-of-sale activities, and ensuring effective implementation of trade marketing strategies across modern trade channels. The role works closely with sales and marketing teams to strengthen market positioning and drive sell-out performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute trade marketing strategies and tactics in alignment with category and product plans.

  • Implement promotional activities in line with brand priorities and media plans.

  • Monitor trade marketing expenses and ensure activities are executed within budget.

  • Work closely with sales teams to analyze customer positioning and recommend in-store actions.

  • Follow up on new product launches and ensure proper execution at the store level.

  • Coordinate with suppliers on the design and production of trade marketing materials and POS tools.

  • Monitor competitors activities and provide regular reports to the commercial team.

  • Support communication of product and category strategies to customers and partners.

  • Drive sell-out initiatives and improve in-store visibility and execution standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 5–7 years of experience in Trade Marketing, preferably within FMCG, retail, or consumer goods sectors.

  • Strong analytical and budgeting skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
