Sales Engineer – Building Automation & Smart Solutions
Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer to develop business opportunities and promote technical solutions within the hospitality sector. The role requires a strong technical background in electrical engineering or mechatronics, combined with experience in building automation, smart-home solutions, or system integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across hotels, resorts, and serviced apartments.
- Build relationships with hotel owners, consultants, contractors, and key decision-makers.
- Promote and sell building automation systems, smart-home solutions, and integrated technical systems.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, quotations, and commercial proposals.
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, product demonstrations, and technical discussions.
- Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure proposed solutions meet client expectations.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business growth.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and support after-sales activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant sales or business-development experience.
- Practical experience in one or more of the following:
- Building Management or Building Automation Systems
- Smart-home solutions
- System integration
- Previous experience serving the hospitality sector is mandatory.
- Strong professional network within hotels and hospitality businesses.
- Good understanding of technical sales, client needs assessment, and solution-based selling.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
- Target-oriented, proactive, and capable of working closely with technical teams.
