Job Title: Scrum Master - SAAS Industry

About the Role

A prominant Egyptian SaaS company is seeking a proactive and collaborative Scrum Master to support and guide our Agile product development teams. This role is ideal for someone passionate about Agile methodologies, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in enabling delivery teams to achieve their goals efficiently while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives, and Demos.
• Monitor sprint progress, track Agile metrics (e.g., burndown charts), and ensure project alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners to refine, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog.
• Ensure seamless communication and coordination between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify and remove roadblocks to keep teams operating at maximum efficiency.
• Coach teams on Agile best practices and encourage a mindset of ownership and accountability.
• Act as a liaison with external stakeholders, representing the development team professionally.
• Support quality assurance by ensuring deliverables meet established standards.
• Utilize Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello to manage and visualize workflows.

Key Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator role.
• Familiarity with the software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum practices and artifacts (e.g., Definition of Done, User Stories, Backlog Grooming).
• Understanding of other Agile frameworks such as XP or Crystal is a plus.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and servant leadership skills.
• Strong organizational capabilities with a problem-solving mindset.
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is a plus.

Job Details

Location: Mokattam 4 days onsite and one day remote

Job Type: Full-time

Working Hours: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM

Working Days: Sunday to Thursday
