About the Role:

NOK Human Capital is currently hiring on behalf of a leading sportswear brand in Egypt. We are seeking a talented and creative Fashion Designer with a proven background in sportswear and gymnastics apparel design. The ideal candidate will combine performance-driven design with aesthetic excellence and an in-depth understanding of functional materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design seasonal collections for sportswear and gymnastics apparel, from concept to final samples.
• Develop detailed tech packs, including flat sketches, fabric details, and construction notes.
• Conduct market research, trend analysis, and mood board development aligned with brand identity.
• Select appropriate performance fabrics and trims tailored to flexibility, breathability, and durability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including pattern makers, sample room, and production to ensure feasibility and quality of final products.
• Participate in fitting sessions and incorporate feedback into design revisions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Based in Cairo, with the ability to work on-site.
• Bachelors degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in activewear, sportswear, or gymnastics apparel design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing relevant work (required upon application).
• Proficient in the following software:
• Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
• CLO 3D or Browzwear VStitcher (preferred)
• Microsoft Excel (for BOMs, spec sheets, line plans)
• Solid understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and finishing techniques in sportswear.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience in gymnastics wear, leotards, or team uniforms.
• Familiarity with sublimation printing and other advanced fabric techniques.
• Knowledge of athleisure trends and performance textile innovations.
