Job Summary
As a Software Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of reliable, high-quality software products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to the quality assurance process, and leverage your technical expertise to enhance software reliability.
Job Responsibilities
- Testing Execution: Perform manual and automated testing for new features, bug fixes, and regression testing.
- Test Planning: Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
- Automation: Contribute to the design and implementation of automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to resolve them.
- Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to define and refine testing requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Performance Testing: Assist in performance, scalability, and load testing.
- Process Contribution: Support the team in identifying opportunities to enhance QA processes and tools.
Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 4-5 years of experience in software testing, including manual and automation testing.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in manual and automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Postman.
- Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration testing practices.
Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
