Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
• Oversee the recording of daily retail sales transactions and general ledger entries.
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and inter-branch transfers.
• Monitor stock levels and support inventory control through financial tracking.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting, providing insights for strategic planning.
• Ensure tax and regulatory compliance, including VAT filings and audit preparations.
• Support financial audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Recommend process improvements for greater financial efficiency and control.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4 to 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the retail or sportswear industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting and retail operational flows.
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, or Odoo is a plus).
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English.

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Working Hours: 8 hours per day
• Days Off: 2 days per week (with flexibility to work one day on a weekend remotely without overtime, once per month)
