Job Summary:
The Accounting Manager will oversee all accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in accounting principles, and the ability to collaborate across departments to support the company's financial health and growth initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and payroll.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations, and external audit requirements.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
- Manage cash flow forecasting and financial risk analysis.
- Support strategic decision-making with financial reports and insights.
- Collaborate with supply chain, production, and sales teams to align financial practices with business operations.
- Lead and mentor a team of accountants to foster professional growth and high performance.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CMA, CPA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian accounting standards and IFRS.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Fluency in English (very good to excellent).
