Job Title: Software Tester SaaS Industry

About the Role

A leading Egyptian SaaS company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Software Tester to lead our Quality Control (QC) function. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and functionality of our software products. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with strong analytical skills, deep testing expertise, and a passion for delivering top-tier software quality.

You will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of the QC team, designing and executing test plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high standards are met across our development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quality Control team, ensuring effective resource planning and team motivation.

• Use the software as intended to evaluate its functionality, usability, and performance.

• Design, develop, and document comprehensive test procedures and plans for all software releases.

• Execute manual and automated test cases and analyze results to ensure software quality.

• Run performance, regression, and stress tests using tools like Selenium, LoadRunner, or JMeter.

• Finalize and document testing protocols, creating clear and accurate test reports.

• Identify, report, and document bugs and technical issues in collaboration with development teams.

• Present test findings and suggest improvements to management and stakeholders.

• Evaluate product code against functional and technical specifications.

• Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing.

• Continuously optimize the testing process and tools for efficiency and effectiveness.

• Collaborate with product, development, and DevOps teams to ensure quality across the SDLC.

Key Requirements

• Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance.

• Proven leadership experience in managing a QA/QC team.

• Strong experience with testing frameworks and automation tools (e.g., Selenium, LoadRunner, JMeter).

• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.

• ISTQB certification (CTAL, CTEL) Scrum certification is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

• High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.

• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.

• Location: Mokattam 2 days onsite, 3 days remote

• Job Type: Full-time

• Working Hours: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM

• Working Days: Sunday to Thursday
