Process and Simulation Engineer
Job Description:
We are hiring a Simulation & Optimization Engineer to design, model, and validate material flow and yard operations using advanced simulation and process engineering methods. You will translate volume profiles and operational constraints into data-backed scenarios that improve productivity, cost, and flow efficiency. The role directly impacts operational design quality, capital efficiency, and performance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and simulate engineering solutions for complex yard and material handling challenges.
- Build material flow concepts based on inbound volume profiles and process-centric design principles.
- Create simulation models and run what-if scenarios to evaluate alternative operational designs.
- Analyze simulation results with subject matter experts and translate findings into clear recommendations.
- Develop, document, and maintain simulation standards and best practices.
- Lead and coordinate simulation and process engineering efforts across multiple projects.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to validate outcomes and refine models.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in simulation and process engineering within logistics, production, or material handling environments.
- Strong ability to model operational scenarios and interpret simulation results.
- Experience working with yard, warehouse, or manufacturing flow processes.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
