Quality Assurance Section Head

Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Section Head will lead the development and implementation of integrated quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management systems. The role is also responsible for managing quality laboratory activities, supporting product certification, and verifying new products before market launch. The position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and is classified at the supervisory level.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management systems in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Manage internal audit programs and coordinate management review activities.
• Supervise quality laboratory operations, including product testing, durability testing, measurements, and equipment calibration.
• Develop and review technical specifications for products and raw materials.
• Verify and validate new products and prepare final quality reports before product launch.
• Coordinate with certification bodies and governmental authorities regarding product standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Support the qualification and evaluation of suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor customer complaints and coordinate corrective actions with the relevant departments.
• Promote continuous improvement, cost reduction, and process optimization initiatives.
• Support the preparation and testing of product samples for high-end and large-scale projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Up to 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Management Systems, or testing laboratory operations.
• At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership position.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is mandatory; home-appliance manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ISO management systems, internal audits, product certification, laboratory operations, and integrated management systems.
• Experience with European and Egyptian product standards and certifications is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills.

Working Conditions

• Employment type: Full-time
• Work mode: On-site
• Location: 10th of Ramadan City
• Working hours: Fixed, nine hours per day
• Days off: Two days per week
