Demi Chef - International / Italian Cuisine Q3 2026
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook international and Italian dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
- Perform ingredient preparation, cooking, plating, and portion control.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Supervise and support Commis Chefs and Assistant Chefs during daily operations.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation before serving.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and equipment.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of food products.
- Assist with inventory control and report shortages or equipment issues.
- Support the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager in maintaining smooth kitchen operations.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (required).
- Culinary or Hospitality background is preferred.
- 4–6 years of experience in international or Italian restaurant kitchens.
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, or catering is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
- HACCP or Food Safety certification is preferred.
- Basic English is a plus.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Maximum age: 30 years.
- Residence near the assigned work location is strongly preferred.
