Demi Chef - International / Italian Cuisine Q3 2026

 Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook international and Italian dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Perform ingredient preparation, cooking, plating, and portion control.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
  • Supervise and support Commis Chefs and Assistant Chefs during daily operations.
  • Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation before serving.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and equipment.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of food products.
  • Assist with inventory control and report shortages or equipment issues.
  • Support the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager in maintaining smooth kitchen operations.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (required).
  • Culinary or Hospitality background is preferred.
  • 4–6 years of experience in international or Italian restaurant kitchens.
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, or catering is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
  • HACCP or Food Safety certification is preferred.
  • Basic English is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maximum age: 30 years.
  • Residence near the assigned work location is strongly preferred.

  • Contract Duration: 1 month (temporary contract)

  • Working Hours: 9-hour rotational shifts
  • Days Off: 1 rotational day off per week
