Job Description:

  • Creating and implementing efficient procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and incorporate the growing complexities and challenges within the industry.
  • Ensuring quick turnaround time for supplier deliveries to achieve end user satisfaction.
  • Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of items with the right quality, best terms, and at a competitive price.
  • Providing timely quotations, updating price lists regularly
  • Managing vendor contracts, negotiating supplier agreements, conducting interviews, accreditation, and evaluation of vendors
  • Tracking and reporting key functional metrics, devising and implementing strategies that would continuously improve performance.
  • Establishing systems and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency of procurement operations.
  • Coordinating with key persons internally and externally, to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company and communicate order status.
  • Participating in business reviews, submitting monthly performance reports and analysis to ensure the achievement of the departments KPIs and address issues and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Bachelors/College Degree in Business Management or related any field
  • With at least three (3) years experience in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management in a senior staff position or supervisory function in same or allied industry
