Your role

We are looking for a Senior Project Consultant with experience in EU-funded R&D&I project management and/or advisory (programmes such as H2020/Horizon Europe, EU Innovation Fund, EIC Accelerator, LIFE, CEF, CBE, Eureka Eurostars, etc.) to join our multicultural and highly diversified team at Nordic Innovators.

As a Senior Project Consultant, you will play a leading role in providing advisory services to beneficiaries of EU-funded projects. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive support and advice in Grant Agreement Preparation, project management and reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and provisions, and working closely with some of the most innovative companies and organisations in Europe within a wide range of different industries.

The ideal candidate will be committed and reliable, with excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver high-quality work without compromising on the details. You are expected to work with a high degree of autonomy, prioritising tasks, managing multiple stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality delivery across several parallel projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and provide expert advice to our clients on Grant Agreement Preparation (GAP), project implementation, and reporting matters.
  • Assist clients with all stages of GAP, including organisation validation, appointment of roles, preparation of GA parts and Annexes, etc.
  • Support clients with desk research and data analysis, report writing and its submission to the funding authority.
  • Provide review and QA checks of project technical, financial, and periodic reporting to the funding authority, ensuring clients are fully compliant with reporting obligations to the funding authority, in line with relevant provisions.
  • Prepare tailor-made project reporting templates.
  • Contribute to the creation, application, and continuous improvement of the team´s Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Collaborate on developing and executing business development plans and strategies for the team.
  • Act as a senior client contact, managing and strengthening relationships with our clients, ensuring effective communication and successful collaboration.
  • Extensive teamwork and collaborations across internal and external teams with a focus on stakeholder management.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in your areas of expertise.
  • Contribute to Nordic Innovators as a whole.


What we´re looking for

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in project management or project management consultancy for H2020/Horizon Europe, EU Innovation Fund, LIFE, CEF, Eureka Eurostars and similar projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of Horizon Europe GAP steps and Annotated Model Grant Agreement (AMGA) provisions (particularly related to eligibility of costs, rights and obligations, and reporting).
  • Strong financial understanding of EU-funded projects, including budgeting, cost eligibility, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge and experience using EC system for Grant Management (SYGMA).
  • Experience in managing or coordinating others, such as junior consultants, project team members, or external collaborators.
  • Fluency in English (minimum C1) is essential.
  • B.Sc. /M.Sc. in a field such as Project Management, Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship, Business, Economics, Engineering or similar.
  • Experience in conducting desk research, data analysis, and report writing.
  • Good understanding of industrial and academic research environments and of the business sector.
  • Experience working directly in/with HEU RIA/IA, or CSA, EU Innovation Fund, EIC, or LIFE projects is a significant advantage.
  • Experience or knowledge of innovative renewable energy technologies and/or energy-intensive industries is an advantage.
  • Able to communicate clearly and establish trust with clients.
  • Work permit in Spain, Norway, or Denmark.
