Senior Risk Officer

Location: Limassol, Cyprus

An established and rapidly expanding international financial services organisation is looking for an experienced Senior Risk Officer to strengthen its regulatory and risk management framework. About the Role
You will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating risk exposure across the company, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and supporting management with accurate and timely risk reporting. Your expertise will help protect the organisations operations while supporting a strong and controlled expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing risk monitoring and assessment across multiple business areas
• Review and analyse operational, credit, market and liquidity risk
• Assess new business initiatives and products from a risk perspective
• Maintain and enhance risk management policies, procedures and controls
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal risk standards
• Prepare regular risk reports for senior management and the Board
• Support the implementation of corrective actions and risk mitigation strategies
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including compliance, finance and trading departments

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a risk management role in financial services, investment or forex industry
• Strong understanding of risk frameworks, internal controls and regulatory requirements (including CySEC or similar jurisdictions)
• Solid analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
• Experience with risk monitoring tools and risk modelling is an advantage
• Excellent organisational and decision-making skills with a proactive mindset
• Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders across all levels
• Fluency in English (additional languages are an asset)
