Handyman (Maintenance Specialist) Bogotá, Colombia

What you'll do

• Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, patching, cleaning, and basic facility repairs.
• Handle minor repairs on machinery, appliances, and company equipment when needed.
• Regularly inspect facilities and common areas to detect mechanical issues, safety hazards, or cleanliness problems.
• Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance requests and service calls.
• Carry out basic plumbing, electrical and general repair tasks following safety standards.

What were looking for

• Fluent Spanish (written and spoken) to communicate effectively on-site.
• At least 2 years experience in maintenance, facilities, or technical support roles.
• Proven ability with plumbing and electrical systems; comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a problem-solving attitude - able to work both independently and in a team.
• Valid drivers license; availability to work rotational 12-hour day/night shifts.
• Experience (or certification) in HVAC or air-conditioning maintenance is a plus; height-work certification also advantageous.
